Solid Gold Stripes

Hi guys! Today I'm showing you the third and last look I made with Orly Solid Gold. The polish dries fast and combines great with many other colors. For these stripes I applied two coats Solid Gold, then I placed two small tape strips on each nail, close to the tips. Finally I applied Catrice New York on top, removed the strips and added a layer of topcoat, voilà! So which one's your favorite? The fifty-fifty mani, the fierce French or today's stripes? ^^ Thanks for reading!

    1. Thanks, Laura :-) I cut the tape myself but you could also use striping tape. If you search for it on Ebay or Google you should find plenty of shops that sell striping tape.

  27. You seriously do the most AMAZING nail art. You do this with tape? Or are your hands just that steady? I can't never do a good Scotch tape mani :-(

    1. Thanks so much! I used tape in this case. And if you need some tips regarding tape manis, I have a small list with tips at the bottom of each tape mani tutorial.

  28. Do you wait for the nails to dry to take off the tape, or do you do it when it's wet?
I need answers. Or a tutorial. Mine always come out messed up from the tape.

    1. Hi Nicolle! It's best to take to tape of as soon as possible, so indeed while the polish is still wet. Because if you wait for it to dry it might stick to the tape and ruin your crisp lines when you take the tape off.
